Swing Low Productions, LLC is pleased to announce that SWING LOW, a short film by first time Detroit filmmaker Phil Elam, has received 11 total nominations in the Short Film category at the inaugural I See You Awards, including Best Picture, Best Lead Actor, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Soundtrack. The 11 nominations make it the most nominated Short Film at the festival, which drew entrants from throughout the country.

The I See You Awards are a celebration of low-budget independent filmmakers. It is a one-of-a-kind awards program created by Terri J. Lee, a professional film critic, and a member of the prestigious Broadcast Film Critics Association, the largest film critics group in the U.S. and Canada. 
The awards will be announced at a “blue carpet” ceremony on Sunday, August 27 at the Bel Air Luxury Cinema, 10100 E. 8 Mile Road, Detroit, MI 48234.
